![]() ![]() Pearson received her Bachelor of Science in Health Planning and Administration from the University of Illinois, and both her Masters in Hospital and Health Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She is known for her expertise in strategic planning, new business development, post-merger integrations, project leadership, and payer strategy. Pearson came to UnityPoint Health - Trinity in 2006 following ten years in the managed care industry at John Deere Health Care in Moline, IL. Katie’s expertise has guided system affiliations and integrations, joint-venture developments, market share increases, and Trinity’s two-time recognition as one of the 100 Top Hospitals nationwide. She leads UnityPoint Health – Trinity’s strategic planning and growth initiatives throughout the multi-state system of care. She’s experienced in strategic planning, business development, strategic growth, marketing and project management within UnityPoint Health’s Quad Cities region. Her professional experience includes responsibility for areas including business planning, business development, business intelligence and process improvement within a large regional insurance company. Katie Pearson has 25 years of leadership experience within the health care industry. Mary and her husband, Brian, reside in Bettendorf, Iowa and have two sons: Jake and Sam. Ambrose University as an adjunct instructor in the Master of Organizational Leadership Mary obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Master of Criminal Justice, emphasis on business from St. Mary facilitates the QC Chamber of Commerce Senior Leadership Roundtable and is a member of Bettendorf Rotary and Founder of Lead(h)er. She is also Board Chair of Ecumenical Housing Development Group (EHDG) and serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA and the Bettendorf Rotary. Mary serves as Secretary on the Ever圜hild Board of Directors (formerly known as Child Abuse Council). Mary’s experience includes leading efforts to create and implement formal affiliations and a merger between two not-for-profit organizations while maintaining and successfully leading two COA re-accreditation cycles. Mary’s commitment to and focus on “best practices” is further evidenced by more than 10 years serving as a volunteer Peer Reviewer for the Council of Accreditation (COA). Mary’s professional experience includes co-chairing the Iowa Department of Human Services Public/Private Partnership Committee and serving on various Kaizen events as a representative of the child welfare private sector. Mary served and ultimately led Family Resources for 25 years, one of the largest child welfare, mental health, and survivor services bi-state organizations in the states of Iowa and Illinois.
